Wings are For Airplanes Street Racing

I remember in High School I loved driving fast. My car was a beater, but I drove it like a Formula One.

I think that's when the Street Racing thing started taking off (I won't date myself with actual years :)

Around that time, I noticed tricked out cars go from having wide rims with as many spokes as you could fit in a circle to cars with stock rims, ripped out back seats, huge tachometers, unneccessary fire extinguishers, and the biggest speed accessory of them all, the oversized spoiler (also known as the sport wing).

"Laboratory tests prove that the larger your sportwing, the faster your 4 cylinder car will go. "

I'm not sure where that particular lab got its rats for testing, but I suggest they get a refund. Strictly for looks, the oversized spoiler has been a pet peeve of mine for over 10 years.

Sometimes, when I go to the grocery store at night, I sometimes can't tell the difference between a shopping cart and the back of someone's suped up Honda. Try pushing an Accord Rx down the milk isle without knocking over a few gallons. It ain't fun, let me tell ya'.

Luckily, the independent t-shirt company, Leftsok has printed a t-shirt that expresses my feelings about riceracers so perfectly. The "Wings are for Airplanes" shirt is now on my Top 10 Favorite T-Shirt Designs list. The website is easy to navigate, and they even have some cool products for sale.

If you are tired of streetracers or if you're a street racer tired of wannabees, this is the t-shirt for you.
