Kobe or not Kobe, that is the question on the minds of most sporting fans these days.

As websites continue to pop up surrounding the sexual assualt case involving NBA star Kobe Bryant, it is hard to stay focused on some basics of the American legal justice system.

I've seen comments already that have branded the alleged victim in this case a "gold digger" and who have pigeon holed Kobe as "another OJ".

I, for one, look forward to the actual trial and hopefully the facts that emerge as a result of the trial. Some say the American court system is a joke, where the name of the game is to "out maneuver" your opponent; truth be damned.

Game or no game, currently, it is the best system we have for finding out the truth. I think the speculations that are happening by the propenents of each side in this case are almost worse that whatever legal schemes the lawyers come up with to beat or make their case.

If Colorado had as good of CSI team as the fake CSI team of Las Vegas, this case could be solved in 53 minutes.

As it turns out, it's looking like it will be more like a season finale, sweeps induced, feature length episode of Law and Order.
