Just a Little Dude Child's Drawing
Sometimes the story of how a t-shirt came to be inspires you to buy the shirt just as much as design itself.
This Evil Alexman t-shirt has just such a story:
"My 5 year old daughter does not go a day without drawing. Over the summer, my 15 year old, also artistic, fell in love with my 5 year old's work, and asked for an iron-on transfer to be made of one of her drawings.
We started brainstorming cool sayings to go with it, and of course so many are already used! We thought, "What can you say about this little dude?" And then it hit us... "Just a little dude."
The shirts are meant to be fun, whimsical, and for no reason other than to smile. Hope they do that for you, as they have for us. And who knows, maybe we'll get some college fund money saved, since that is where the profit will be going."
Just like that a child's passion combined with the simple idea of creating a t-shirt to encourage the creativty, and an awesome design is born! After reading the story and seeing the cool dude little Alex created, my shopping finger clicked that add to cart right away!
With the help of CafePress, Alex's mother has a free way to display her child's artwork for the world to see, and at the same time, use the earnings from the t-shirt and other items to help fund Alex's college education.
Who could ask for a more worthy cause to buy a cool t-shirt?
As the proud father of a 4 month old baby girl, I can only count the days until I get to turn my daughter's drawings into t-shirt art for the world to see. Who knows, it might inspire other young artists to do the same.
Get your own original little dude artwork by Alex on a t-shirt, coffee mug, or even a cool lunchbox! They serve a dual purpose: cool t-shirt and support of education!
