I'm Internet Famous

Im Internet Famous

This t-shirt is what t-shirts are all about.

T-shirts are about wearing something that you can relate to; being able to express yourself with simple, inexpensive fashion.

3 words screen printed in white ink on a 100% cotton t-shirt and it sums up my little existence when I'm working online (you can pretend to be anything online...even being famous :)

"I'm Internet Famous"

When I talk with my "offline" friends about what I do, I always find myself explaining extra terms and jargon that seems like everyday basic vocab to me. After a while they bypass all the definitions by just asking me "how's business going?"

I think I'm gonna start telling them those 3 simple words: I'm Internet Famous

Not that it's necessarily true, but it's funny to say anyway.

I mean, I've had my 15 minutes of fame because of my various online ventures.

My sites have been voted "Cool Site of the Day" (and "Cruel Site of the Day"), featured in the Lockergnome Newsletter (I'd have to explain Lockergnome to offline folks :), Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine, USA Today, Stuff Magazine, BBC Radio, Channel 5 Evening News Magazine (Bay Area), Oakland Tribune, several national and international radio shows, TechTV, Fortune Small Business, New York Post (PageSix), Ian Collins Radio Show, Impressions Magazine, a couple of independent films, and just last month a couple of my sites were on the cover of the Wall Street Journal. But who's counting :)

But I digress. What I'm trying to say is, some say text t-shirts with witty sayings aren't "artistic". I say just the opposite. I think that art is any "piece" that has the ability to connect with the person viewing it. It could move them to tears, make them smile, make them say "YES, THAT'S ME!" or even just make them think about their life in a totally different way.

There is something artistic about choosing the right message, the right medium and the right venue. To me, the guys at comet7 found a synergy of those 3 elements and made the perfect kind of tshirtart.

They also made buying the t-shirt super easy. It took me like 2 clicks to pay for the shirt with my PayPal account and I had the shirt on my doorstep within 2 days (even over a holiday!). That's my kind of tshirtcustomerservice! A decently priced t-shirt with reasonable shipping costs, what more could you ask for.

If your ego is feeling like it needs a boost, or if you want to proclaim your status as an interneticon, this is the t-shirt for you.

What are you waiting for, let the world know you're InternetFamous!

I just bought this t-shirt! Maybe not quite as Internet Famous as some ;) but when it's seen offline hopefully someone will say, 'so who are you?' (hehe) then that will be a nice time to plug some websites.

I LIKE it! I might get this one. But I'd love to add to it also. Maybe I will iron-on my name. In the area that I would be seen wearing such a shirt, Ive been known since BBS days and converting those systems to the first local ISPs. Google or groups.google for "Gandalf Parker" yeilds insane results and we are only saved by the fact that their database doesnt go a couple of decades farther back.
