Stones to Bones Trombonist

I've never played the trombone and I would buy this t-shirt in a second!

Although it seems like the t-shirt market has shifted to allow more "text based" designs to be more popular, I think this trombone oriented design has a market appeal that crosses many boundaries.

Like I said, I've never been a trombonist, in fact, I've never successfully picked up a musical instrument in my 28 years. In grade school I dabbled at the clarinet because my parents made me...but I'm hardly a musician.

Something about this shirt just grabs me though. To get the full effect, you should really take a look at the zoomed in version of the t-shirt design, but here's a sample of the graphic below:

stones to bones

You can tell that the artwork was professionally done and well thought out. The colors used seem to compliment the theme of the drawing as well as highlight the important aspects of the design (the trombonist in the "present" and the word "Bones"). Whoever did the artwork for this t-shirt definitely put a lot of time into the layout. The end result is well worth it!

The text from the main storefront says it best:

"Ancient forms of musical expression (singing, skin beating, gut plucking, and button pushing) have been replaced by the soul, the lyricism, and the power of the trombone. The pinnacle of musical expression is owned by none other than the supersonic bodacious bone."

Bodacious...yes, I think that's the word that describes this t-shirt! I haven't used it since the 80's, but this design is well deserving. Grab one for yourself today...my official shopping day is this Friday and I'm trying to hold out until then :-) AddThis Social Bookmark Button
